Thermal Imaging for Building Professionals

This course provides building professionals with a practical, standards-informed introduction to thermography for the inspection and assessment of buildings. Delivered as flexible e-learning with instructor support, it explains how thermal imaging is used to identify heat loss, insulation defects, air leakage, moisture ingress, and building fabric anomalies. Students will learn the underlying principles of infrared thermography, correct camera setup, environmental considerations, and how to interpret thermal images reliably.
